Mateo Kovacik Mateo soccer player profile

Name : Mateo Kovacic
Age : 18
Club : Inter Milan
Position :Attacking Midfielder
Squad No :10
Born :Linz, Austria

Decision FC Internazionale duo release their prized asset, Philippe Coutinho to Liverpool and Wesley Sneijder to Galatasaray, had a little more protests from the Interisti. But with two important players cashing the club, Inter then redeem by presenting the names of sorts Zdravko Kuzmanovic, Ezequiel Schelotto, until Mateo Kovacic. For the first two names, they are poor across the top level, where the previous Kuzmanovic defending German Bundesliga, Stuttgart, while Schelotto under the banner of Atalanta.

Interesting and certainly need to be in the spotlight one last names of the three new players on top. Who else if not Kovacic. Who was Kovacic? Looks like a lot of the public does not know football figure this one out. Moreover, he only played in the club like Dinamo Zagreb, which incidentally is not living in the world's best league. With bold, Inter had redeemed teen 18 year of € 11 million. Bonus if the deal was not yet Inter qualify for the Champions League next season, where the figure could rise again. Nominal pretty amazing course. That is just a tag, a matter that will be worn jersey number he, who thought that if Inter apparently entrusted fully to the left jersey No. siyoungster. 10, the first sacred number attached at the back of the club legend Roberto Baggio and last worn caliber player Sneijder, the Kovacic.

For players who obviously still fledgling and has not proven its quality in the top level, certainly left a big question: What kind of transfer policies and effective decisions to invest Nerazzurri him? Is this an instant step to make Kovacic as successor Sneijder or Coutinho in order to reach the target of finishing in the top four? Then why should jersey number 10?

Kovacic (middle), when it was introduced as a new signing FC Internazionale
If indeed he has potential, perhaps this is one of the best young players purchase a business that never made president Massimo Moratti for him at the Giuseppe Meazza. Not without reason, courage Inter paying the dowry is not the least sacred number 10 plus confidence in young players Kovacic class could present a risk of unexpected, or may be otherwise.

In spite of that, the attacking midfielder will probably refresh the Inter squad. Kovacic known for rapid playing style, nimble while dribbling, quiet time to master the round leather, and skilled in menggocek and on the ball. The Interisti seems to have prepared exhibited such actions, as has been often pointed out Kovacic when he ruled in Maksimir, Zagreb headquarters.

Since the age of 13 years Kovacic already in the club, and during the period of childhood up to the present, successive European scout team from around the incessant observe the youngster. Zagreb but all were rejected outright until Moratti came knocking on the door. With one throwing a tempting offer, Zagreb no power to refuse the proposal proposal Nerazzurri, and this moment could be the stepping stone for Kovacic to know the football at the highest level, is the first that comes to pick a team like La Beneamata. For your information, Zagreb is known for great talent printer Croatia. Who does not know player like Eduardo, Vedran Corluka, Luka Modric Mario Mandzukic up? They all alumnnus academy Zagreb.

Kovacic in Croatia is predicted as one of the most prospective players. Menggocek prowess and ball control to make it as the best of its capital, but Kovacic is believed to still have to compete with players typically short feeder sorts Esteban Cambiasso, Javier Zanetti Fredy Guarin up, which is where they are much more experienced, and perhaps it has not been a lot of capabilities Kovacic owned.

However, the capability Kovacic has received recognition from the sky illustrious Croatian legend and AC Milan, Zvonimir Boban. According Boban, no need to doubt the quality Kovacic, and he was sure the youngster would become a great player world. More than that, there's little blood Boban judge Roberto Baggio within Kovacic. "There's little sign of Roberto Baggio in his self," he said. Kovacic, according Baggio, is one of the best young seedlings sticking Croatia never before. "He was one of the best footballer ever born among other Croatian players," he said.

Kovacic also seems unnecessary to linger beraklimatisasi with Andrea Stramaccioni tactics employed. The system used the coach's style of play seems to fall into the youngster, where Strma regularly play 3-4-1-2 tactic or transformed to 3-5-2. Kovacic themselves can play in many positions, in addition to his natural position as a trequartista, he can also play as a winger, at right and left. Early in her career, is known Kovacic competent role as the left-wing, or left midfielder. And today he can be called more than just an attacking midfielder, a role he played in Zagreb, following the sale of the previous flagship playmaker, Milan Badelj. Here, then, Kovacic show ability to prove themselves, and fairly successfully.

Although not many goals throughout his career with Zagreb, but he could be the best link between the midfield with the front line, where he can be pushed into the box reliability menggocek opponent with the ball, or distributing the ball for the attackers, before he had contributed to the schemes surround the opponent.

Transferred with substantial money plus the confidence the club gave him jersey number 10, of course, raises a big expectation on the shoulders of Kovacic. However, with his young age, potential, and is seen to have a bright prospect, Kovacic only need to perform consistently, and has had its day to become the new idol Internazionale.

Age: 26
Birth Date: Feb 14, 1987
Birth Place: Salto, Uruguay
Height: 6' 2'' (1.88m)
Weight: 71 kg
Playing in the Club: Napoli

Napoli secured the services of Edinson Roberto Cavani Gomez on a one-season loan deal from Palermo on the eve of the 2010 World Cup, but importantly also secured a right-to-buy option set at around €12 million.

The Salto-born striker began his a career with Montevideo side Danubio FC in 2006 and made an instant impact, scoring nine goals in his debut season as the Uruguayan club won the Primera Division Apertura. His exploits in the domestic game earned him a call-up to the Uruguay Under-20 side for the 2007 South American Youth Championship in Paraguay, where he was scouted by a number of European clubs, including Juventus and AC Milan.

However, it was Palermo who moved quickest to snap up the youngster. The deal was officially completed in January 2007, but El Matador had to wait until March to make a memorable debut against Fiorentina as he hit a volleyed equaliser that was reminiscent of Marco van Basten's legendary strike against Soviet Union in the final of Euro '88.

Following the departure of Amauri to Juventus in June 2008, Cavani quickly established himself as a regular at Palermo, scoring 35 goals in 114 appearances, but was forced to play in a wide role rather than in his preferred position as a central striker. In April 2010, he penned a new contract with Palermo that ran until June 2014, but the prospect of playing a more central role in Walter Mazzarri's Napoli proved too difficult to resist and Cavani swapped Scilly for the Italian mainland in a move that established his credentials as a top quality goalscorer.

He started life at the Stadio San Paolo in emphatic fashion and ended the season with 26 goals in a league campaign that culminated with qualification for the Champions League. Cavani was just two goals behind Udinese's Antonio Di Natale and would have been the first Napoli player to top the scoring charts since Diego Maradona in 1988, although the Argentine did it with just 15 goals.

Cavani's star continued to rise as he won the 2011 Copa America with Uruguay and he has since been linked with big money moves to the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid, with some reports putting the transfer fee as high as £50 million.

Strengths:
Powerful and strong, he is a commanding presence up front who can hold onto the ball and is not afraid to get his head on a cross, but most importantly he is a natural finsher when in front of goal.

Weaknesses:
His eagerness to work defensively for the team can draw him too deep and his passing is not on a par with his finishing.

Career high:
Winning the 2011 Copa America to make Uruguay the most successful team in the competition's history, with 15 triumphs, one ahead of Argentina.

Career low:
It's a tough to call for a player who is on a meteroic rise. Perhaps the fact he only scored two goals in his first six months at Palermo.

Style:
Agile, powerful, a real handful in the box who loves to play on the counter-attack.

Quotes:
"He's an important player for us. He fights hard, he tries to play and when he doesn't manage to do so, he still fights and that's important." Uruguay coach Oscar Tabarez, November 2011

Trivia:
Cavani comes from a footballing family and his older brother Walter Guglielmone plays as a forward for Brazilian Serie D side Pelotas.

Position: Striker

Caiyoooo my friend..

Chelsea career
On moving to Stamford Bridge, Fernando Torres took over the vacant number nine jersey, but took 14 games before he found the net, a joyously received effort on a sodden Stamford Bridge pitch against West Ham.

It remained his only goal for the Blues that season but with a rare summer of recuperation following, hopes were high that 2011/12 would see the Fernando Torres that tormented Chelsea so much when he was wearing red.

His start had been encouraging, with an opening day display at Stoke which lacked only a goal. That eventually came at Old Trafford in a 3-1 defeat against Manchester United, but his afternoon will be remembered not for the instinctive flick over David De Gea's head but the missed open goal that followed in the closing stages.

The Spaniard bounced back quickly to open the scoring against Swansea with a smart touch and finish though, but he was then sent off, forcing him to miss three domestic games. In Europe though, he then netted twice in the 5-0 Champions League victory over Genk before enduring a frustrating spell in front of goal throughout the autumn and winter period.

His effort and general play in creating for team mates ensured the supporters continued to stick with him though, and positive performances were rewarded, with three goals in a fortnight at the end of March and a crucial assist for Salomon Kalou in Lisbon against Benfica.

The most memorable moment of his season was undoubtedly scoring the equalising goal in the Camp Nou as we came from behind to draw 2-2, securing our place in the Champions League Final, while a hat-trick against Queens Park Rangers seemed to suggest that the Spaniard is slowly recapturing the kind of form which made us secure his services initially.

Torres remained on the bench for the FA Cup Final victory against his former club Liverpool but did come on in Munich and played his part, winning the corner which Didier Drogba equalised from with two minutes to spare.

Torres started the 2012/13 season well, breaking the deadlock in our 3-2 Community Shield defeat to Manchester City, following it up with successive strikes in league games against Reading and Newcastle United.

He also turned in impressive displays in the away wins at both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, scoring the opening goal during the 2-1 win at the Emirates.

Torres received the second red card of his Chelsea career when he was controversially dismissed during the 3-2 home defeat against Manchester United. Replays clearly proved that the striker had been clipped by Johnny Evans, but referee Mark Clattenburg disagreed and booked him for simulation, his second yellow card of the game.

Crucially, Torres scored the decisive goal in our 3-1 Europa League win against Steaua Bucharest, a goal which took us through 3-2 on aggregate.

Pre-Chelsea
Aged 26 at the time of his move from Liverpool, he had netted 65 goals in 102 league appearances for the Reds and 81 in 142 games in all competitions.

He originally moved to the Premier League aged 23 having spent the previous 12 years at Atletico Madrid, a club based a few miles from the town of his birth on the outskirts of the capital city.

In his time at Atletico, 'El Nino' (The Kid - his nickname in Spain) was the club's youngest player and youngest captain. His debut came aged 17 and he took the armband two years later.

His first full season there was a quiet start with just six goals from 36 league appearances, but that became 13 from 29 games the next year and the 20-goal mark was reached in 2003/04, Fernando's most prolific season in Spain and the year of his debut for the national side.

The player's subsequent emergence on the international stage and 75 goals in 174 Spanish top-flight games meant many clubs across Europe were after his signature and he chose to work under compatriot Rafael Benitez at Liverpool.

The transfer in July 2007 was valued at approximately £20 million, Luis Garcia going the other way, and Fernando's first goal for the Merseysiders was against Chelsea at Anfield, opening the scoring in a 1-1 draw after getting the better of Tal Ben-Haim. It was the first of seven goals in seven games against Chelsea. It is his best return against any English club.

He scored three hat-tricks on the way to 33 goals in his first season in England, becoming the first Liverpool player since a previous wearer of the number 9 shirt, Robbie Fowler, to break the 30-goal mark in one season.

His second season returned 17 goals (injury reducing his number of appearances) as his side finished second, three points and one place above Chelsea in the league table. In the 2009/10 season, despite Liverpool dropping down the table to seventh, Fernando accumulated a very healthy 22 goals in 32 games.

Before joining the Blues midway through 2010/11, Fernando made 26 appearances for Liverpool, scoring 11 times including both goals in Chelsea's November defeat at Anfield.

International career
He headed to the World Cup in South Africa in 2010 already a winner of the European Championships at senior international level.

In his teenage years, Fernando had achieved top-scorer status for his country in both the Under 16 and Under 19 European Championships and he scored his first goal for the senior side against Italy aged 20, seven months after his first cap.

In the 2006 World Cup in Germany he scored three times in the group stage but Spain were beaten by France in the first knockout round. However there was no stopping his nation two years later at Euro 2008, Fernando scoring once on the way to the final and the only goal in that match in Vienna as Germany were defeated. It was Spain's first major piece of silverware since 1964.

In South Africa, Fernando struggled for full fitness and form having undergone surgery in April. As a result, Barcelona's Pedro took his place for a semi-final triumph over Germany.

Coach Vicente Del Bosque also left him out of the starting line-up for the final. Instead he came on in extra-time in the 1-0 win over Holland although he tore a muscle before the end.

Torres was selected as part of the squad for Euro 2012 and ended up walking away with the Golden Boot award after scoring three goals as Spain clinched their third successive major trophy.

He was left out of the starting line-up for the opening game against Italy, but scored a brace in the following game against Republic of Ireland. He scored the third goal in their 4-0 destruction of Italy in the final, before teeing up Chelsea team-mate Juan Mata for the fourth.

Ibrahimovic's exquisite, often unorthodox, technical attributes wowed spectators in Italy for five years but he was unable to find the same level of consistency in Spain and in August 2010 he joined AC Milan on a season-long loan deal before a permanent move.

He then moved on to Paris Saint-Germain in July 2012 as the French capital club continued to splash the cash.

Ibrahimovic can be a spiky character and has been accused of not performing well in the biggest matches. A tendency to speak his mind to the press makes for controversial headlines and this combined with his obvious talent ensures he remains compulsive viewing.

Early Life:

Ibrahimovic was born to a Bosnian father and Croatian mother, along with three sisters and two brothers. He started playing football when he was 6, featuring for local junior clubs Malmo BI and FBK Balkan. When playing for hometown club Malmo FF, he considered quitting the game at 15 in favor of working at the docks but was talked out of it by his manager.

The Malmo Years:

The striker made his debut for the Swedish club in 1999 and experienced relegation in his first season. But he helped the club win promotion back to the top league at the first time of asking and his performances were beginning to attract admiring glances from clubs around Europe. It was Ajax who signed him in July 2001 for US$6.6 million.

A Move to Ajax:

Ibrahimovic initially struggled to make the team, but this changed with the arrival of Ronald Koeman as manager. The striker helped Ajax win the title in his debut season with six goals in 26 league appearances.

In his final season at the Amsterdam Arena, he scored a stunning goal against NAC Breda and his 13 strikes in 23 matches helped the club to a second title in three seasons. After 32 league goals for the Dutch outfit, he was on his way again.
Italian Adventure:

Italian giants Juventus signed Ibrahimovic in the summer of 2004 for US$20 million and he was an instant revelation, scoring 16 times.

He made less of an impact the following season but Juventus thought they had won the league for the second time since his arrival. However, the club was stripped of both titles for their part in a corruption scandal. As a further punishment Juventus were relegated to the division below. The Swede did not want to play in the Italian second division, so after a tally of 23 league goals in two seasons, Inter Milan signed him for US$32 million in 2006.
The Inter Milan Years:

Inter have been the most successful club in Italy in the second half of the decade and Ibrahimovic contributed to this in no small way. His 57 league goals helped the Nerazzurri win the Serie A title in each of the three seasons he was there.

An amazing back-heeled effort against Bologna in his final season was the highlight of a spectacular 2008-09 campaign which saw him finish as the league's top scorer with 25 goals. Barcelona was just around the corner.
A Year in Barcelona:

Ibra scored on his league debut against Sporting Gijon, and in each of his next three matches, setting a record as the only Barcelona player to net in the opening four league games of the season.

However, after initially impressing, Ibrahimovic’s form dropped off as he rarely produced the kind of performances to justify his exorbitant price tag.

Towards the end of the season the striker found himself increasingly left out of the team by Josep Guardiola, who the Swede would later claim rarely spoke to him in his final months at the club. In the Champions League semi-final first-leg against former club Inter, he famously ran less distance than his goalkeeper Victor Valdes, supplying ammunition to those accusing him of laziness.

Ibra nonetheless helped Barca to a second straight league title with 16 goals. His four Champions League strikes, including two vital efforts against Arsenal in the quarter-finals, added to another in the Copa del Rey, meant that he finished the season with 21 goals, but that was not enough to keep him at the club.
Return to Serie A:

Ibra joined Milan on loan in the summer of 2010 and he instantly hit his stride. His 14 goals helped the Rossoneri to their first title since 2004 as he quickly became an integral part of Massimiliano Allegri’s team.

He did show his petulant side with two red cards towards the end of the 2010-11 season but will remember the campaign fondly after rediscovering his mojo following that indifferent year in Barcelona.

He was again on form in the 2011-12 season, netting 42 goals in all competition and finishing as the top scorer in Serie A, although he could not prevent former club Juventus winning the Scudetto.
Sweden Career:

An automatic first choice at international level, Ibrahimovic represented Sweden at the 2002 and 2006 World Cups. His most productive international tournament was the 2004 European Championships in which he scored a penalty against Bulgaria and a late equalizer in a 1-1 draw with Italy.

Zlatan struck twice at Euro 2012, including a stunning volley against Framce, but he could not prevent Sweden bowing out in the group stages.

Profile of Mario balotelli

Quick Facts:

Name: Mario Barwuah Balotelli
Nationality: Italian/Ghanaian
Date and Place of Birth: August 12, 1990 in Palermo, Italy
Position: Striker
Current Club: AC Milan (calcio League)
Previous Clubs: Lumezzane (2005-2006), Inter Milan (2006-2010)
International Career: 2010 to present

Expect the unexpected where Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli is concerned.

Like Italian teammate Antonio Cassano, there is no doubting the talent, but substantial question marks over his behavior and ability to co-exist in soccer’s delicate ecosystem have threatened to derail the career of SuperMario.

The Early Years:

The player was born to Ghanaian immigrants Thomas and Rose Barwuah in the Italian city of Palermo, but health problems led to his parents contacting the social services and he was adopted by the Balotelli family at the age of three.

Balotelli made his senior debut at 15 for Serie C1 side Lumezzane before being snapped up by Inter on a loan deal with an option to purchase in 2006.

His first-team debut arrived under Roberto Mancini in December 2007 as a substitute against Cagliari, and a few days later he started in a Coppa Italia match with Reggina, scoring his first two goals for the club.

Balotelli often endured racial abuse during his time in Italy, and Juventus fans barracked him in a 1-1 draw in April 2009, a match in which the striker scored.
Problems With Mourinho:

Balotelli’s relationship with Mancini’s successor Jose Mourinho was strained to say the least. “He trains at 25 per cent, if it was 50 per cent he could be one of the world’s best players,” the coach once observed.

The striker, who insists he is not a trouble maker, also acknowledged his day to day struggles with the Portuguese tactician: ”I had a love-hate relationship with Mourinho. When you get two people with a similarly strong personality, they tend to clash.”

Especially when a player appears on an Italian TV show wearing the shirt of city rivals AC Milan, as Balotelli did in March 2010.

In a 2009-10 Champions League semi-final first-leg against Barcelona, Balotelli was introduced as a substitute for tiring striker Diego Milito, but demonstrated such a lack of effort and lackluster body language that many felt his actions signaled the death knell for his career at the San Siro. After being reprimanded by Samuel Eto'o and Esteban Cambiasso, he finished his tantrum by throwing his shirt at some supporters.

Balotelli is a rare talent possessing pace, a deadly eye for goal and excellent control. Although he was not always a model of consistency in an Inter shirt, he produced several sublime moments, and had a goals ratio of roughly one in every three games.

In August 2010, he completed a move to Man City after an on-off saga that had lasted several weeks.
Struggles at City:

He endured a disappointing first season, more remarkable for his bizarre conduct off the pitch than contributions on it. Scorer of just seven goals in all competitions, Balotelli did impress in the FA Cup final against Stoke as the club won its first major trophy since 1970, while he also helped them qualify for the Champions League.

The quality of Balotelli’s performances in the 2011/12 season were a marked improvement as he helped the club to their first title since 1968. His two goals in the memorable 6-1 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford contributed to an overall haul of 18 for the season.

However, his off-the-pitch misdemeanours continued, while several rash tackles and accusations of a lack of application prompted many questions about his long-term future at the club.
International Career:

Balotelli rejected the opportunity to play for Ghana on the eve of his 17th birthday because of his determination to represent the country of his birth.

Once he had obtained Italian citizenship, coach Pierluigi Casiraghi called him up for the under-21 side and he turned out regularly for the Azzurrini before finally making his senior debut in a friendly against the Ivory Coast at Upton Park in August 2010.

Euro 2012 was a roaring success for Balotelli as he helped Italy reach the final. He scored three times in the tournament including twice against Germany in the semi-finals, but the striker was left in tears after failing to prevent his side going down to a 4-0 defeat to Spain in the final.

They have a low center of gravity. They play with the ball glued to their feet. He has already proven that he’s a good player. The important thing is not to bulk him up too much.".
